Minted in the USA of solid bronze with an antique finish using special deep-relief dies for exceptional quality and detail, the obverse of the AH-1 challenge coin features front, side, and top profiles of the AH-1 Cobra in the background, while an AH-1 Cobra in attack occupies the foreground. The reverse of this coin features the emblem of the United States Marine Corps.
